Working with
textiles is an art which requires abilities and demands contributions
from several professional areas. |

Cotton,
cultivated and harvested, is spun, then weaved, bleached and printed
before being supplied to the clothing industry who transform it into
clothing, furniture fabric, household linen, etc. |

The
work of CROUVEZIER-VIALA consists mainly in preparing and ennobling
the grey-cloth from the weaving process, that is to say bleaching
it, drying it, finishing it, teasing it, glazing it. In short, to
make them beautiful and ready for consumption.

White
cloth is still the mainstay of production since it is on demand
from large organisations, hospitals, etc. Moreover, whitening is
a necessary stage before dying and printing. But all plain pastel
colours are produced by CROUVEZIER-VIAL. Only black and very dark
colours are not made for ecological reasons related to the purification
and the colouring of the water.
The environment is in fact a domain that is preserved in Vosges
and in this respect CROUVEZIER-VIALA is several years in advance
of its French and foreign competitors. Since more than 20 years,
3 stations have ever been built, the last one, who was born in 1998
permit to have excellent results on waters purification. |
